For Elevator contractors with class A, RA and IC licenses. Clarifies the requirements regarding Glass in Elevator Cars, in Hoistway Doors and in the construction of Hoistway Enclosures. The CSA B44-04 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators (“Safety Code”) and the applicable glass standards specifies the Type and Markings required.
