An adoption process committee has been formed to review the published 2012 Canadian Electrical Code, which will then become the BC Electrical Code once it goes through the adoption process. Adoption in BC is expected in early Spring 2012 followed by a 90 day phase-in (installations can be undertaken under either editions of the Code).
The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) has provided a list of key 2012 Code Changes for Electrical Contractors.

Information regarding the Code Changes will be published on the website as an information bulletin and educational sessions will be conducted through Electrical Tech Talks.
