Licensed contractors need a permit before they install, operate or perform maintenance on electrical products. If you have an installation or operating permit and the scope of the work has changed, please amend the permit at your nearest BCSA office.
There are two types of electrical permits: installation and operating. Each section provides steps to obtain your permit.
