Amusement Devices Inspections

After you set up your amusement ride, you must then request an acceptance inspection from the BCSA who will then assigned a Safety Officer to you. The Safety Officer will require an acceptance test and a visual inspection before you can begin operating the device.

If you recently had an inspection of your amusement device equipment that identified non-compliances, you must confirm that you have taken action to rectify the situation by completing an Amusement Device Confirmation of Correction of Non-Compliances Form 1190.  Please send your form to the New Westminster, Courtenay or Vernon office of the BCSA for the attention of your Safety Officer.

For more information on your installation and acceptance inspections, see Permits.
