Your input plays an important role in informing our decisions on the technologies we regulate, and that are important to you as a stakeholder.

Our standard consultation processes include technology advisory committees for each of the technology that we regulate and the Safety Standards Administrators Group. We also provide updates and results of our stakeholder consultation process.

There are currently 2 consultations:

Fee consultation for 2012-2014

The BC Safety Authority is proposing a weighted increase of 3% each year from 2012 through 2014 for electrical, elevating devices, gas, and boilers, pressure vessels and refrigeration fees. Read the details and the view proposed fee schedules and give your feedback by May 18, 2012.

Recognition of Training for Limited Scope Electrical Worker Update

Three draft Information Bulletins on the recognition of training for limited scope electrical workers are available for comment until May 1, 2012. The BC Safety Authority held an information & feedback session regarding this issue in October 2011.
